A Big Quarter Leading Up To Clean Car Tax Increases.

Quarter 2 in 2023 saw over 47,000 new passenger and light commercial vehicles registered, a record in recent history. This is only matched by a similar number in Q1 2022, when the Clean Car Scheme was first introduced. It comes as no surprise that only 35% of the new passenger registrations in Q2 2023 were for petrol powered vehicles, 22% were electric, 29% hybrid and 14% plug-in hybrid.
